About Tuggs
How the food works
Every dinner blends conventional ingredients with insect protein. Tuggs says black soldier fly larvae need 96% less land than traditional livestock, and 94% less water. Some ingredients come from human food surplus, which cuts waste. Plans are tailored to your dog, with portions and recipes matched to its needs. The brand says dogs that switch often show firmer stools, less bloating and a shinier coat within a few weeks.
Trying it out
New customers can start with a trial box before moving to a subscription. Deliveries then arrive every 4 to 6 weeks, which reduces the number of trips. Student, NHS and military discounts are available, and a refer-a-friend scheme rewards both sides.
Packaging and delivery
Boxes are fully recyclable and the insulation is compostable wool. Tuggs will also collect used insulation and ice gels to clean and reuse. Delivery is free within the UK once an order passes £25. Unopened products can be returned within 14 days. Visa, Mastercard and PayPal are accepted.
