Squire's Garden Centres
Squire's Garden Centres is a family-run group with centres across Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire and west and north London, headquartered in Twickenham. The business traces its roots to 1936, when D.J. Squire started out in landscape gardening. Sarah Squire, the third generation, now leads it. The website lets you browse and order the range from home.

About Squire's Garden Centres
Plants and garden supplies
Outdoor plants are the heart of the range: trees, shrubs and seasonal bedding, plus compost, fertiliser and garden tools. Garden furniture, houseplants, decorative pots, homeware and gifts cover the indoor side. Hardy plants carry a 5-year guarantee, which is reassuring when planting trees or shrubs. Peat-free options are stocked, and buying Barnsfold Nurseries has brought more home-grown plants into the centres.
Getting your order
Online orders can be collected from a centre or delivered locally, within roughly 5 to 7 miles of a Squire's site. Delivery is aimed at larger items such as furniture. Squire's does not ship abroad, so its online shop works best for people living near a centre. Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted, and gift cards are sold.
Visiting a centre
Every centre has free parking and a Café Bar. Badshot Lea, Twickenham, Stanmore and Washington have pets and aquatics departments, while West Horsley has aquatics only. Staff with horticultural training can help with plant questions. The free Friends of Squire's app, launched in February 2025, collects digital stamps and adds birthday treats.
