About Hayloft Plants

What grows here

Hardy perennials form a big part of the list, including salvias, penstemons, echinacea, hellebores, delphiniums and erigeron. Alstroemeria gets special attention, and a few varieties are exclusive to Hayloft. For bulbs, corms and tubers, there is something for every season: tulips, daffodils, alliums and fritillaries, then dahlias, ranunculus and crocus. Bedding runs from petunias, begonias and fuchsias in summer to violas, pansies, wallflowers and cyclamen for autumn. There are fruit, vegetable and herb plants too, plus compost, feed, pots, hanging baskets, supports and frost protection.

Help for gardeners

Every plant page gives height, spread, position and care notes, and each genus has its own growing guide. A printed catalogue can be requested by post. Monthly guides to garden jobs and videos on Hayloft TV help with timing. The customer care team is UK-based and answers the phone.
