About Squire's Garden Centres

Squire's Garden Centres is a distinguished family-owned horticultural business with a proud history dating back to 1936. Founded by D.J. Squire, the company evolved from a landscape gardening service into one of the UK's pioneering garden centre businesses. Today, under the leadership of Sarah Squire, the third generation of the family, Squire's continues its legacy of providing exceptional plants, garden products, and a welcoming environment for gardeners and families alike. A Commitment to Community and Sustainability With 17 centres spread across West London, Surrey, Sussex, and Berkshire, Squire's is deeply embedded in its local communities. They are passionate about encouraging new generations of gardeners through a year-round programme of workshops and support various local charities. Furthermore, Squire's is dedicated to environmental sustainability, having been a member of Planet Mark since 2020 and consistently reducing its carbon footprint. Their acquisition of Barnsfold Nurseries also marks a return to offering more home-grown plants, reducing plant miles and supporting local producers.
