Ocado
Ocado is an online-only supermarket that has been delivering groceries since 2000 from its base in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Ocado Group and Marks & Spencer own it in equal halves. That is why the full M&S Food range sits next to everyday branded groceries. There are no shops; orders are picked in automated warehouses. Ocado suits households that do a big weekly shop and would rather book a slot than push a trolley.
