Howdens
Howdens supplies kitchens, doors, flooring and fitting hardware to builders and tradespeople from a network of local depots. It works on a trade-only basis, so most homeowners buy through the builder handling their project. The draw for many is stock held close to the job. Free help with planning a kitchen layout and Lamona, its own appliance brand, add to the appeal. Shopperazzi lists Howdens products with their current delivery details.

About Howdens
Who buys here
Howdens is set up for the trade. Builders, joiners and kitchen fitters hold accounts and pick up from a nearby depot, which keeps a job moving without long waits for stock. Homeowners can browse and plan, but the usual route is for the builder to place the order on their account. Depots are open six days a week.
What the range covers
Kitchens come first, with cabinets made in Britain and covered by a 25-year guarantee. Around them sits the joinery side: doors for inside and out, wood floors and mouldings. Hardware fills the gaps, from hinges and handles to the smaller fixings a fit needs. Lamona is the in-house appliance label, covering hobs, ovens and dishwashers, and some of its hobs carry a five-star Which? rating.
Before you order
Stock is delivered from the local depot rather than a central warehouse, and click and collect is available too. Returns follow trade terms, so the depot that supplied the goods is the one to speak to. Visa and Mastercard are accepted alongside trade accounts, and gift cards are not sold. The timber is FSC certified, and NHS staff and armed forces personnel can use the Blue Light Card scheme.
