Frive
Frive is a UK meal prep service that cooks healthy meals and sends them out nationwide. It began as Lion's Prep in 2017 and took the Frive name in 2024. The pitch is real food made from whole ingredients, with no artificial additives or ultra-processed components. Chefs cook the dishes and nutritionists sign them off. Plans cover low-carb, balanced and vegan eating.

About Frive
How the meals work
Menus change weekly, and you choose the plan that fits your diet. Each dish is portion-controlled, high in protein and balanced for macros. Every meal shows its nutritional information, calories included, which helps anyone tracking intake. Meals keep for 5 to 7 days in the fridge and can also be frozen.
Who gets the most from it
Frive suits people who want to eat well through busy weeks without cooking every night. Gym-goers counting protein will find the macro details useful. Vegans have a dedicated plan. Anyone cutting back on ultra-processed food may like that lower-quality seed oils are kept out too.
Delivery and extras
Delivery covers the whole of the UK, and you pick the day it arrives. Next-day delivery is often possible. The free delivery threshold is £35. Freshness is guaranteed, so contact the team if a meal is not right.
A loyalty scheme rewards returning customers automatically, with perks such as free snacks that build up over time. Students can save through Student Beans, NHS staff have their own discount, and gift cards are sold. Checkout takes Visa, Mastercard and PayPal.
Sustainability at Frive
Frive actively works to reduce food waste through portion-controlled meals, using fresh ingredients, and promoting menu planning. They encourage recycling and highlight the environmental and financial costs of food waste.
