AMO Denim is a Los Angeles label making jeans and wardrobe basics for women. Two designers with backgrounds at True Religion and Current/Elliott founded it in 2014. Its name comes from the Latin for love. UK shoppers pay in pounds, but parcels come from California by UPS with import charges left to the buyer. The returns window is short.

Finding your fit
Jeans are the core of the range, and each style carries a name: the 143, Billie, Annette, Frida, Maria, Robbie, Cate and Marcenia. Fits run from slim and straight to relaxed, wide-leg and cropped, with high, mid and low rises. Washes go from light through dark to black and white. A Find Your Fit tool and a size guide help narrow things down.
Beyond jeans, AMO sells slouchy army-inspired trousers, denim shorts and skirts, and other trousers. Tops cover shirts, henleys, tees, tanks, jackets and sweaters. Studded Artful Details pieces and gift cards are also on the site. The brand says its denim uses responsibly sourced fabrics and is crafted in Los Angeles.
What a UK order really costs
UPS International carries UK parcels, and the delivery charge is calculated at checkout. Orders ship duties unpaid, so expect to pay import VAT and duty before the parcel is handed over. AMO processes orders within one business day; anything in before 10am Pacific time goes out that day, and weekend orders on Monday. Nothing can be changed or cancelled after ordering.
If the jeans don't work out
Returns start in AMO's online portal, and timing matters. A refund to your original payment needs the parcel back within 10 days of delivery. Up to 20 days earns store credit instead, and later returns are refused. Jeans have to come back unworn and unwashed with tags on, and each return loses a restocking fee. UK customers also pay return postage and any duties, and international orders can't be exchanged.

Will I pay import charges on an AMO Denim order?
Most likely, yes. UK orders are shipped duties unpaid, so import VAT and any duty are collected from you when UPS delivers. The shipping cost itself is shown at checkout.
How quickly does AMO Denim send orders?
Processing takes up to one business day. An order in before 10am Pacific time should ship that day. Weekend orders wait until Monday.
Does AMO Denim store credit expire?
No. Credit given for a late return, sent back within 20 days of delivery, has no expiry date and can go towards any future order.
Can I change an AMO Denim order after placing it?
No. Once an order is placed it cannot be edited or cancelled, so check sizes and the delivery address before paying.
What if an AMO parcel arrives damaged or goes missing?
Report it within 5 days of the carrier's delivery scan. If the order has Order Protection, the claim goes through that service's portal.
