Vita Liberata is a self-tan label created by Alyson Hogg in 2003. Its own web store sells developing tans for face and body and faster express formulas. There is also the Body Blur range of wash-off makeup, plus mitts to apply it all. Hogg regained ownership from Crown Laboratories in 2024, and the UK shop is now run by her company in Northern Ireland.

About Vita Liberata
The range
Body tans come in tinted and clear versions, and there are express tans for quicker colour. Face tans and face glow products let you build colour gradually. Body Blur is wash-off body makeup that gives an instant finish and rinses away. You will also find application mitts, the Tan and Protect kit, gift sets and an end-of-line corner for discontinued products. According to a 2024 BeautyMatter report, the odourless collection is free of parabens, perfume and alcohol.
Delivery to the UK, Ireland and the EU
Orders to Great Britain and Northern Ireland cost £6 to send and arrive in one or two working days, or go free above £45. Anything ordered after 1pm is dispatched the following working day, and weekend orders leave on Monday. Shoppers in the Republic of Ireland pay €7.50, while EU delivery is €12 and takes five to seven working days; both become free over €50. Customs charges outside the UK are the buyer's responsibility.
Read this before returning
Ask for a return within 14 days of the parcel arriving. Once opened, an undamaged product cannot be refunded or swapped, so only open what you plan to keep. You pay return postage and do not get it back. If something arrives damaged or wrong, send photos within 14 days and a replacement is arranged.

Can I return a self-tan I've opened?
Usually not. Once a product has been opened it cannot be refunded or exchanged unless it was damaged. If an item turns up faulty, damaged or wrong, take photos and get in touch within 14 days to have it replaced.
When will my order be dispatched?
Orders placed before 1pm on a working day can leave the same day, while later ones go out the next working day. Anything placed from Friday afternoon to Sunday is sent on Monday.
What does Body Blur do?
Body Blur is wash-off body makeup sold alongside the brand's developing tans. It gives colour straight away and comes off when you wash, which suits a one-off occasion.
How much is delivery to Ireland?
Republic of Ireland orders cost €7.50 to deliver and become free above €50. Customs charges on orders leaving the UK are paid by the buyer.
