Tushbaby
Tushbaby makes baby carriers built around a hip seat, a padded shelf that takes a child's weight off a parent's arms and back. The shop also sells wrap and combo carriers, bags for nappies and spare clothes, teethers, small toys and beanies. It mainly suits parents who carry a baby or toddler on the hip a lot, and friends hunting for a practical baby-shower present.

About Tushbaby
The carriers
The Hip Carrier is the product most people come for. It straps round the waist and gives the child a seat, and Tushbaby says it spreads the load evenly. The same piece doubles as a nursing pillow, holding the baby at a slant for feeds, and its pockets hold small essentials.
For newborns there is the Pearl Wrap Carrier, a soft hands-free wrap. The 2-in-1 Combo Carrier adapts as a child gets bigger.
Bags, toys and extras
The Pack and The Mini Pack are the brand's baby bags, and The Crossbody Strap adds another way to wear them. Smaller buys include a Doll Carrier for toddlers, the Playhouse Stacker and a sippy cup. There is also the Tushy Bear Leafy Teether Set, plus matching Mama & Mini beanies.
Good to know before buying
The website has how-to videos and customer reviews, which help when fitting a carrier for the first time. Gift sets and gift cards are sold, so presents are easy to sort. Orders can be paid with Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Tushbaby ships internationally, and its returns page sets out eligibility and time limits.
