The arrangement is a swap rather than a paid job. The owner provides free accommodation, and the sitter cares for the animals while they are away. Listings cover dogs, cats, poultry, horses and many other pets. Owners set out what care is needed, and sitters choose the homes that match their experience. Pets keep their usual routine in a familiar setting.
Membership
Both sides join through an annual membership. Pet parents search verified, reviewed sitters, while sitters browse house sits worldwide and apply for those that suit them. Support comes from the Membership Services team and a Help Desk. The company holds B Corp certification and names animal welfare and a lower environmental impact as priorities.
