About Pondkeeper
Liners, pumps and filters
Liner options include EPDM, butyl, PVC, Firestone and Flexiliner, with underlay and preformed ponds as alternatives. Pumps cover air, all-in-one, feature, filter, fountain, pressure and solar types. Filters come in gravity, pressurised, koi and solar versions. Complete pond kits, pond vacuums, hose and fittings fill the gaps. Brands include Blagdon, Hozelock, Evolution Aqua, PondXpert and Fishmate.
A sizing tip
To size a filter, find the pond's volume by multiplying length by width by average depth. Most filters should process that whole volume at least once an hour. Koi ponds need a faster turnover because koi produce more waste. Solar pumps are a good match for small ponds that get plenty of sun.
Delivery and returns explained
Orders over £39 travel free. Smaller orders pay £4.99 for next working day delivery, and Saturday delivery is £19.99. Bulky items and live plants can take 10 to 15 working days. Unwanted items can go back if unused, undamaged and still in their original packaging. Pondkeeper can collect returns from mainland UK addresses for £20 a parcel or £60 a pallet. Made-to-measure liners and live plants are only returnable if faulty, and faulty goods are sent back at Pondkeeper's cost.
Sustainability at Pondkeeper
Pondkeeper promotes eco-friendly pond solutions, including energy-efficient solar pond pumps, which offer a sustainable way to maintain small, sunlit ponds.
