How the water is treated
Each unit filters water in four stages, then passes it under UV light. The brand says this strips out pollutants from industry, farming and medicine, along with bacteria and parasites. Magnesium, calcium and potassium stay in, which is meant to give a crisp taste and a tank free of scale. Hot water sits in an insulated tank, and Our Taap says this uses less energy than boiling a kettle several times a day.
Paying monthly instead of buying outright
Most customers join a monthly plan. It bundles fitting by a technician, every replacement filter and ongoing help from the support team. A visit to fit the tap usually lasts less than an hour.
