About NordVPN
What a subscription covers
The core service routes your traffic through encrypted servers, with thousands to choose from worldwide. Threat Protection blocks malware, trackers and intrusive ads. Meshnet lets you link your own devices securely for remote access. NordVPN runs a no-logs policy, so it does not keep a record of your activity. Apps cover Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS.
Who it suits
It is useful for remote workers, travellers and students. Families can spread one account across up to six devices, including phones, tablets, laptops and routers. Using a VPN is legal in the UK.
Buying and support
There is nothing to post: you download the apps straight after paying. Every plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee, which gives time to test speeds on your own connection. Payment options include Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and cryptocurrency. Help is available around the clock by live chat and email. Students can get a discount through Student Beans, and a Refer a friend scheme adds free months for both people.
