Without Prime, Standard Delivery takes 3 to 5 days, and eligible orders of £35 or more ship free; eligible books qualify from £10. Prime members get unlimited free One-Day delivery, plus Same-Day delivery on eligible items in more than 80 UK towns and cities. Amazon Now offers 30-minute grocery delivery in selected areas, and Iceland groceries can also be ordered through the site.
Collecting and returning
Parcels can go to one of more than 30,000 Amazon Lockers and Counters, free whatever the order value, and they wait 3 days for collection. Most items can come back within 30 days if unused and undamaged, for a full refund. Amazon aims to issue a refund within 2 business days once the returned item reaches it, and Christmas purchases usually get a longer window.
Paying and support
Checkout takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Visa Debit and Maestro, Amazon gift card balances, Instalments by Barclays and Pay by Bank. Customer service is on the phone every day from 6am to midnight.
