Shoppers choose from over 1,500 designs, change the words or drop in their own photos, and Royal Mail handles delivery. Flowers, chocolates and small gifts can be added to an order, which helps when a card on its own feels a little thin.

Photo cards can hold a single picture or several. Sophie Sargent, an independent illustrator, drew a good number of the designs, and the shop sells her work with her permission.
Gifts to go with a card
Bouquets include Peony Perfection and The Ottilie, and there are chocolates, candles and personalised goodies too. Ready-made bundles, such as The Grand Gesture or The Sweet Talker, put a card, a treat and a small present in one order. The site also has a reminders tool so upcoming birthdays are easier to remember.
Dispatch, delivery and fixes
Get an order in before 12pm and it leaves the same day. From dispatch, Royal Mail First Class takes about one business day and Standard two to three. Prices for each service are not listed on the shipping page. If a card is not right, email the shop within seven days of it arriving, quoting the order number. Lush Lobster will then reprint it, swap it or give a full refund.
