LVMH says Fresh chooses natural ingredients for quality and potency. LVMH puts the development time for a single formula at as much as three years. Crème Ancienne takes its inspiration from a recipe credited to Galen, a physician of the ancient world. According to the group, it is handmade at a monastery in small quantities.
