Younger children can burn off energy in the African Adventure Play Area, which has indoor and outdoor levels. A Character Afternoon Tea with Cadbury characters is also offered.
Planning a visit
Tickets are sold online, and booking ahead is essential at busy times. Opening hours change through the year, so check them before you travel. Under 2s go free, and there are flexible options for rescheduling. Multi-attraction tickets pair a visit with other Merlin venues, for example the National SEA LIFE Centre or LEGOLAND Discovery Centre. Bournville sits about 4 miles south of Birmingham city centre, and trains from Birmingham New Street stop at Bournville station nearby.
