Building Materials Nationwide
Building Materials Nationwide is an online supplier that serves the building trade only, delivering across the UK from its base in Twyford, near Reading. Builders, contractors and developers use it for timber, plasterboard, insulation, bricks, blocks and steel framing systems. Stock includes brands such as British Gypsum, Kingspan, Rockwool and Isover, and there are no shops to visit.
About Building Materials Nationwide
What's in stock
The range follows the main stages of a build. Timber and joinery cover structural work and finishing. Interior fit-outs are served by plasterboard and stud and track systems, while insulation helps with energy efficiency. Bricks, blocks and Steel Framing Systems (SFS) handle the structure. If something isn't listed, the flexible sourcing service can track down harder-to-find materials.
Trade accounts
A trade account comes with a personal account manager who can help with ordering and with complex material requirements. Eligible account holders can also pay on interest-free terms lasting as long as 45 days, which helps spread costs across a project. Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer or through the account.
Delivery and support
Delivery covers the whole of the UK, with options arranged around project timelines and site needs. Orders over £300 qualify for free delivery, though some exclusions apply. For returns, contact customer service first to get the details. The support team can be reached by phone or email for product questions and order updates.
