Bettys
Bettys dates back to 1919, when a young Swiss confectioner set it up in Harrogate. Today it is best known for its Yorkshire tea rooms. Its online shop sends cakes, Swiss-style chocolates, biscuits, teas and coffees to addresses across the UK, with gift hampers packed ready to give. It's a good fit for birthdays, thank-you presents and afternoon tea at home.

Ordering for delivery
The online shop delivers anywhere in the UK but not overseas. Much of the range is perishable, so returns are subject to specific conditions; contact customer service about any problem with an order. Payment is by Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal, and gift cards can be bought too. A reward points scheme gives points for purchases and for registering, redeemable on later orders.
Visiting in person

Bettys FAQs
Can Bettys deliver a gift overseas?
No. Bettys' online shop delivers to UK addresses only, so hampers and cakes can't be sent abroad.
What if something in my Bettys order is wrong?
Because much of the range is perishable, returns have specific conditions. Contact Bettys' customer service directly about any issue with your order.
Does Bettys give student or NHS discounts?
Not at present. The main standing perk is the reward points scheme, which turns points from purchases into money off later orders.
Who founded Bettys?
Frederick Belmont, a young Swiss confectioner, opened the business in Harrogate in 1919. It is now part of Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate Ltd.
Can I buy a Bettys gift card?
Yes, gift cards are available, which helps if you're not sure whether someone would prefer cake, chocolate or tea.
