About Animed
Food, medicine and accessories
Food brands include Royal Canin, Calibra and Natures Menu, covering different life stages and health needs. Natural options and Certified B-Corp products are stocked too. The dispensary supplies prescription medicines, along with treatments such as Drontal and supplements like Flexadin. Danish Design coats and beds, plus treats, cover the comfort side.
How prescriptions work
Prescription-only medicines need a valid prescription from your vet, while other products can be ordered directly. Qualified vets on the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons register oversee dispensing, supported by staff registered with the VMD. All medicines are genuine, UK-licensed and sourced from the same suppliers that local practices use. Animed has been running since 2010.
Delivery, returns and repeat orders
Standard UK delivery is free on orders over £29, and express delivery is available. There is no shipping outside the UK. Non-prescription items in their original condition can be returned within 30 days. Subscribe & Go sets up repeat orders, which suits regular food or medication. Animed also price matches. Pay by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Sustainability at Animed
Animed is committed to a 'Better for Pets, Better for the Planet' philosophy. They offer Certified B-Corp pet products and a range of natural pet food options, demonstrating a focus on environmental responsibility and sustainable practices within the pet care industry.
