For dogs and cats
Most of the site is given over to dogs and cats. Food comes dry or wet, with recipes for puppies, older animals and particular health needs. Brands include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Plan, Wainwright's and AVA. Treats range from dental chews to training rewards, and there are beds, toys and everyday accessories too.
Small pets, fish, reptiles and birds
Owners of smaller animals will find cages, bedding, food and toys. Fishkeepers get tank kit, food and accessories. Keepers of reptiles and birds can buy habitats, lighting, food and enrichment items, and there are products for wildlife as well.
Getting your order
Home delivery covers the UK, and Click & Collect lets you pick up from one of the 450-plus stores. For food you buy every month, Easy Repeat sets up regular deliveries. Returns run through the Refunds & Returns section of the website, so check the time limit there. Pets at Home does not ship overseas, and pays by Visa, Mastercard or PayPal.
