Waitrose Cellar is the online wine, beer and spirits shop of Waitrose & Partners, which sits within the John Lewis Partnership. It launched in 2013 and is run from Bracknell. Its buyers won both the wine and spirits supermarket titles at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2023. Orders can be delivered or collected from most Waitrose shops in England.

About Waitrose Cellar
In the cellar
Wine is the focus, with reds, whites and rosés from around the world. Sparkling choices run from Champagne houses such as Lanson and Gruet to prosecco. Beer and spirits are picked by the same buyers. The Blueprint range gives good-value versions of classic wine styles, while the No.1 range features wines from top producers. Organic and Fairtrade bottles are available too.
Delivery and collection
Delivery is free on orders over £150, and next-day delivery is available when you order by 9pm. Alcohol deliveries need a signature from someone aged 18 or over, so plan to be in. Click and collect works at most Waitrose shops in England: order by 9pm and pick up from 3pm the next working day. Waitrose Cellar does not deliver abroad.
Returns and paying
Unwanted bottles can be returned within 30 days for a refund, either at a Waitrose shop or by home collection. Refunds go through within 7 days. Gift cards are sold, and myWaitrose members can use the loyalty scheme. At checkout you can use Apple Pay, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
