Trtl
Trtl is a Glasgow travel brand, started in 2013, best known for a neck pillow that looks nothing like the usual U-shaped cushion. Its pillows use an internal support to hold the head in a comfortable position on planes, trains and long car journeys. The online store also sells other travel accessories, and it suits anyone who struggles to sleep sitting up.

About Trtl
Why the pillow is different
A conventional travel pillow is a padded U-shaped ring around the neck. Trtl's patented design takes another route, with a support structure inside that keeps your head and neck resting in a more natural position. The adjustable fit works for most adults. The cover can go in the washing machine once the support is taken out, which helps after a long trip.
Who it suits
Frequent flyers are the obvious match. The pillow is just as useful on a long train ride or as a passenger on a road trip. Anyone who wakes from a journey with a stiff neck may find it worth trying.
Delivery and returns
UK orders over £30 ship free, and express delivery is available if you are flying soon. Trtl also ships internationally. Unused items can come back within 30 days. Checkout takes Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and Apple Pay.
Extras for regular travellers
A loyalty programme earns points on purchases, which can be used against later orders. Students can verify through UNiDAYS, Student Beans or SheerID for a discount, and NHS and healthcare workers are also offered one.
