About Science Museum Shop
Toys that teach
Chemistry sets and other science kits sit at the centre of the range, joined by gadgets, robotic pets and talking robot companions. Games, puzzles and books keep the learning going away from the kitchen table. Most items are designed to be hands-on, which makes them handy presents for children and teenagers.
For the grown-ups
Adults are well served too. Scientific illustrations, photography and vintage posters drawn from the museum's archive suit a study or hallway wall. Homeware and collectibles sourced from the National Railway Museum add a heritage strand, useful if you are buying for a train enthusiast.
