About Ryman
Inside the range
Writing tools run from everyday ballpoints to fountain pens, with notebooks, diaries and paper in many formats. Office shoppers will find filing and storage, desk accessories, laminators, calculators, printers and shredders. Artists and crafters get their own section, and desks, chairs and storage units cover the furniture side. An eco range includes pens made from recycled bottles and 100% recycled paper.
Delivery and collection
Standard delivery takes two to four working days and is free on orders over £40. Next-day delivery costs £6.95 for orders placed before 5pm, and Friday orders arrive on Monday. Deliveries run Monday to Friday from 8am to 7pm and on Saturdays from 8am to 6pm. Click & Collect is free from more than 200 stores and is usually ready within 2 hours.
Returns, payment and rewards
Items in resaleable condition can go back in store or by post, though personalised products, perishables and custom orders are excluded. Refunds take three to five working days, or 24 to 48 hours for PayPal. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay and Klarna are accepted, and gift cards are sold. Ryman Rewards members collect points on every pound spent, and students can verify through UNiDAYS for a discount. All stores take ink and toner cartridges for free recycling, and batteries can be recycled too.
Sustainability at Ryman
Ryman is committed to reducing their environmental impact, having worked with Carbon Trust to assess their carbon footprint. They use carbon neutral suppliers for marketing and packaging materials, with all cardboard and plastic waste recycled. LED lighting is being rolled out across stores and warehouses. All stores offer free ink and toner cartridge recycling (50p discount per cartridge) and battery recycling. They stock an extensive eco-friendly product range including pens made from recycled bottles, 100% recycled paper products, and biodegradable packaging. Ryman also developed the Ryman Eco font, which uses 33% less ink than standard fonts.
