Choosing a tent
There are three main families. The Explorer is a soft-shell tent in three sizes: standard, XL and Super XL. The Roamer has a hard shell for extra toughness, and the Adventurer uses an aluminium clamshell. All of them suit vehicles from small hatchbacks up to vans, as long as there are roof bars and the weight limits allow. Accessories include awnings for more covered space, thermal insulation pods for cold nights and anti-condensation mats to keep the bedding dry.
Seeing and fitting
You can look at tents in person before buying. As well as the Nottingham base, there are viewing points in Glasgow and Liverpool. Fitting at the warehouse costs nothing for UK customers, and collection is available instead of delivery. The team gives guidance on whether a tent will suit your car.
Paying and extras
Finance options let you spread the cost, and Visa, Mastercard and PayPal are accepted. NHS staff can claim a discount.
