Reliant
Reliant is an electrical retailer from Blackpool that has sold household appliances since 1960, once under the name Reliant Direct. Its range runs from big-screen TVs and soundbars to washing machines, fridges and cookers, with electric bikes and office chairs on the side. Alongside the website it has two showrooms in Lancashire, which helps if you want to see a television or fridge before paying.

About Reliant
What's on the shelves
Televisions are the headline. Reliant carries 4K and 8K sets plus OLED, QLED, QNED and LED panels, with LG and Samsung among the brands. Screens start at 32 inches and go up to 98 inches. To finish a living room, there are soundbars and home cinema projectors.
For the kitchen and utility room, look for dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers, fridge freezers and cooking appliances, plus smaller countertop gadgets. Two less obvious corners of the shop cover electric bikes and office furniture such as desks, ergonomic chairs, gaming chairs and storage.
Before you order
Delivery is free, and orders placed before 1pm can arrive the next day. Professional installation is offered, which is worth asking about for a heavy or plumbed-in appliance. Click and collect is available, and Reliant only delivers within the UK. Cards, PayPal and finance options are accepted.
Unwanted items generally need to come back in their original condition and packaging, but the exact window isn't stated, so read the policy first. Faulty goods are handled through the customer service team.
Good to know
A free five-year warranty covers many of its products, and Reliant runs a price match guarantee. Students, NHS staff and military personnel can get a discount once their status is verified. Shopperazzi shows Reliant's current products and delivery details next to other UK retailers.
