Start with what the trip is for. Golfers have seven resorts to choose from, including Slaley Hall and Forest Pines, both of which pair a course with a spa. Spa breaks centre on ELEMIS treatments, and most hotels add leisure facilities such as pools and gyms. Norton Park, a manor house property, shows the more traditional side of the collection.

Booking and cancelling
Bookings are confirmed instantly by email. Cancellation terms depend on the rate: flexible rates can be cancelled without charge, whereas advance purchase rates may not be refundable. Spa breaks come with flexible terms for changes.
