Jürgen Ellwanger 2023 Hebsacker Lemberger dry

A Lemberger rich in aromas of ripe blackberry and dark cherry with hints of spice. On the palate, this dry red wine is very juicy with a lively acidity and delicate tannins. In the finish, it has a blanaced texture with a velvety and flavour-intensive lenght. The wine ws fernmented on the skin and allowed to mature in used barriques or large oak barrels. This wine originates from a vineyard with VPD.ORTSWEINE classifcation. This means the grapes were grown in a high quality, characterful and traditional vineyard, and therefore produce an expressive wine that is typical of the local terrior. Aged in large wooden barrels, this lemberger was produced in the traditional German way, using processes such as mash fermentation. Food recommendations: This lemberger is the perfect accompaniment to grilled meat or a vegetarian mushroom risotto. Soil: The vines are located on colorful marl and limestone.
