Wine: This Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) Grand Cru is rich golden yellow in colour. Enormously smooth, this dry white wine has elegant fruit notes of ripe pineapple and pear. It also has a very harmonious acid structure. Food recommendation: Pairs well with fried crustaceans such as lobster sauce or filet of monkfish in Pinot Gris sauce. 35 Year old vines Vinification: In stainless steel and used Barriques. Soil: Grown on old terraces in Loess, fermented partially in barrels and left on the lees for 8 months Bottled: July 2024 Drinking temperature: 11-13°C Alcohol: 14,0% vol. Res. sugar: 0,2 g/l Acidity: 6,7 g/l
