MS500 Bevel Edge Wood Chisel 16mm

This 16mm (5/8in) Marples MS500 Series All-Purpose Chisel offers a practical mid-range blade width that's particularly effective for general joinery, standard mortising work, and everyday woodworking applications. The 16mm size provides excellent versatility, being narrow enough for detailed work yet wide enough to handle broader timber preparation efficiently. The chisel features a large metal striking cap designed to withstand hammer impacts whilst prolonging the life of the handle and preventing mushrooming. Its ProTouch™ handle delivers superior grip comfort and significantly reduces vibrations and hand fatigue, making extended work sessions more comfortable. One-piece blade forging provides added strength and durability, whilst the special tool steel construction ensures a much sharper cutting edge for quicker and easier operation. A special hardening process gives the blade a longer-lasting edge, reducing the frequency of re-sharpening. This chisel arrives honed and sharpened, ready to use straight from the packet, saving you valuable time and effort.
