MS500 5 Piece Bevel Edge Wood Chisel Set

The IRWIN Marples MS500 5 Piece Bevel Edge Wood Chisel Set is a comprehensive all-purpose chisel collection designed for professional woodworkers and serious DIY enthusiasts. This complete set provides the essential chisel sizes needed for a wide range of carpentry and joinery tasks, from fine detail work to heavier timber preparation. Built for durability and performance, each chisel features one-piece blade forging that delivers exceptional strength and resistance to the demanding conditions of daily workshop use. The blades are manufactured from special tool steel and undergo a specialised hardening process, ensuring they maintain a sharp cutting edge for longer and require less frequent resharpening. Every chisel arrives honed and sharpened, ready for immediate use straight from the packet. The ProTouch™ handles are engineered to enhance user comfort during extended work sessions, reducing vibrations and minimising hand fatigue. A large metal striking cap tops each handle, designed to withstand repeated hammer impacts whilst preventing the common problem of handle mushrooming, significantly extending the tool's working life. This set is ideal for general carpentry, furniture making, door hanging and timber framing applications. The range of sizes covers the most commonly required dimensions for mortising, paring and general timber shaping work. The set is supplied in a convenient storage wallet that protects the cutting edges and keeps your chisels organised on site or in the workshop.
