X12 12 Speed Waxed Chain

Compared to oil-based lubricants, waxed chains are less susceptible to dirt build-up, increasing drivetrain life and reducing cleaning intervals. The KMC X-Series was developed with the specific characteristics of the Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo systems in mind. Thanks to precisely chamfered plates, the X-Bridge technology enables perfect shifting and smooth propulsion in all riding situations. The X Series enjoys the trust of many top athletes in professional cycling.KMC GO Wax BenefitsLong lasting: Once applied, the wax dries to form a protective barrier that outlasts oil based productsLess dirt: Waxed chains attract less dirt, minimising the common causes of wear and ensures a smooth operation at all timesBiodegradable: Free from PFAS and harsh solventsEasy to use: Easy to apply and the chain does not need to be dewaxed before rewaxing.Silver Nickel-Plated CoatingNickel is an alloying metal primarily used for refining steel. With corrosion resistance, enhanced hardness, and proves highly effective as rust protection.Gold Ti-N CoatingTitanium nitride is a chemical compound of titanium and nitrogen. Offering extreme hardness and corrosion resistance. This special coating has an ultra-smooth surface, and is extremely durable against the elements.1/2" X 11/128"Pin Length: 5.2 mm126 LinksWaxed with KMC GODouble X-BridgeNon DirectionalMissing links includedCompatible with all 12x drivetrains (except SRAM Eagle Transmission T-Type, 12-speed road/gravel)Weight per 110L: 262 gramsRecommended Care intervalsRoad Bikes: KMC recommend to care for your KMC Waxed at the latest after 250 km or at least once a month.MTB, cross and frequent riders in all weather conditions: After 100 km at the latest.RewaxingThe chain must be dry before applying the waxThe chain does not need to be dewaxedShake the bottle and apply to the inside of the chain (One complete turn)Do not wipe off excess wax.Allow to dry completely before riding, especially in wet conditions
