Prints, cuts and sizes

Dresses lead the range, in maxi, midi, midaxi, swing and tunic shapes, and many have pockets. Some are nursing-friendly or easy to care for. Prints go from animals and dinosaurs to bookish themes, rockabilly looks and Christmas designs. Beyond dresses there are tops, jumpsuits, dungarees, pinafores, knitwear, coats, pyjamas and swimwear. An alterations service can adjust a piece when you order, although altered items cannot be returned.

Tights and extras

Tights are a speciality, running from 30 to 160 denier in solid colours, patterns and footless styles. Anti-chafing shorts and socks sit alongside them. Bags include backpacks, crossbody and lunch bags, and there is footwear, homeware and children's clothing that matches the adult prints. Popsy also has a mobile app and a Facebook group, Frocks & Friends, which it says has more than 200,000 members.

Postage and sending things back

Tracked UK delivery takes two to five working days and costs £2.95, or nothing once you spend £40. A faster tracked 24-hour service is £5.95 if the order goes in before the weekday cut-off, though next-day arrival is not guaranteed. Orders leave within two working days. Overseas orders cost £7.50 to Germany and £12.00 elsewhere. You can send back unused items in original packaging within 28 days, but you pay the postage. Gift cards, tights, altered pieces and event tickets cannot come back, and swimwear needs its hygiene liner attached.
