About Polaroid
Choosing a camera
The I-2 is aimed at photographers who want control, with manual settings and what Polaroid calls its sharpest lens yet. The Now Generation 3 keeps things simple: point, shoot and wait for the print. Now+ Generation 3 adds app connectivity for more creative options. The Go Generation 2 is the smallest of the line-up, easy to slip into a bag for days out. Each is sold as a starter set.
Film and accessories
Film is the ongoing cost, so it pays to stock up before a holiday or party. Polaroid makes its own film chemistry, which gives each print its rich tones and distinctive finish. Accessories are sold alongside the cameras. The website also has tips on keeping film in good condition, shooting indoors versus outdoors and handling prints while they develop.
