About Outdoor Action
Camping kit
Camping is a big part of the business. There are lightweight tents for backpackers, roomy family tents and drive-away awnings for motorhomes, from brands including Vango, Outwell and Outdoor Revolution. Sleeping bags, cooking gear and camp furniture fill in the rest of a pitch.
Clothing and boots
For hill walking and everyday wet weather, the clothing side carries waterproof jackets, insulated layers, trousers and base layers. Brands include Craghoppers, Regatta, The North Face, Berghaus and Salomon. Hiking boots and walking shoes sit alongside, and the Blackburn store has a footwear fitting service for anyone unsure of sizing. The shop floor spreads over three levels with full tent displays.
