Molecaten
Molecaten runs holiday parks and campsites, mostly in the Netherlands, with one more park in Hungary. Guests can bring a tent or caravan to a pitch, rent a holiday cottage or stay in a ready-equipped tent. Parks sit by the sea, in forest and heathland or near water, and dogs are welcome at many of them. Everything is booked online at molecaten.com, which suits UK families planning a Dutch break.

About Molecaten
Coast or countryside
For seaside stays, parks such as Noordduinen, Waterdunen and Hoogduin put the Dutch coast within easy reach. Inland, Het Landschap, De Koerberg and 't Hout offer quieter breaks among woods and heath. Regions covered include Drenthe, the Veluwe, the South Holland Islands and the Friese Wouden, so each trip can feel quite different.
Holidays through the year
Molecaten describes its parks as open year-round. Spring trips can take in the Dutch bulb fields, Easter breaks have their own packages, and summer stays centre on swimming and time outdoors. In winter, a cottage among the trees makes a good base for recharging.
