About Mediafix
Formats it can handle
Video work covers Betamax, Hi8, MiniDV, Video8, Digital8, U-Matic and Video 2000 cassettes, as well as everyday VHS, VHS-C and S-VHS. Super 8, standard 8mm and 16mm cine film are converted too. For stills, Mediafix scans slides, negatives, medium and large format film and whole photo albums. Reel-to-reel and cassette audio tapes complete the list.
How the process works
Start with a free, non-binding request online. Then print an order form and post your media to the UK logistics centre. Drop-off points around the UK are an alternative to posting. Finished orders can come back by post or be collected from a drop-off point. Originals are returned along with the digital copies.

You can choose a standard or premium quality check. Free advice is available by phone and email before you commit. Students can get a discount at checkout. Visa, Mastercard and PayPal are all accepted. Contact the team if you have any concern about the quality of the finished files.
