About Medela
Choosing a pump
The range spans several styles. The Freestyle Hands-free is a wearable double pump that sits inside a bra. The Swing Maxi Hands Free is a double electric model, and the Solo is a single electric pump. Manual pumps are also sold.
Medela's pumps use what it calls 2-Phase Expression. A stimulation phase comes first, then an expression phase, designed to mimic how a baby naturally feeds. For hospital-level performance at home, the Symphony pump can be rented instead of bought.
Beyond pumps
Breast shields, nursing pads and products for sore nipples sit alongside nursing and maternity bras. There is also kit for collecting and storing breast milk. Spare parts and accessories are stocked too.

Standard mainland UK delivery takes 2 to 5 working days and is free above £50. Medela does not ship abroad. Unused items in their original packaging can go back within 30 days, though electrical items such as pumps can carry their own return conditions.
