About Major Golf Direct
Clubs, balls and clothing
Clubs cover drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, irons, wedges and putters, plus package sets and junior clubs. Pre-owned gear is stocked as well. Golf balls, waterproofs, jackets, sweaters, shirts, trousers, caps and belts are sold for men and ladies.
Other brands on the shelves include Nike Golf, adidas, Cobra, Srixon, Under Armour and Wilson.
Custom fitting
Fittings are run by PGA professionals and go well beyond the driver. Sessions cover irons, putters, wedges and golf balls, along with gapping to check the distances between clubs and loft and lie analysis.
Note that custom-fit clubs can't be returned unless the manufacturer built them incorrectly, so settle the specification carefully during the session.
Delivery and payment
Delivery is free on UK mainland orders over £70. Deliveries also reach the Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey, and separate terms apply to the Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland. Other items can be returned under the refund policy on the website.
Payment choices include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna for interest-free spreading. Major Golf Direct also runs a Price Beat Promise, and its customer service team answers seven days a week.
