Lucy & Yak is a UK clothing brand set up in 2017 by Lucy Greenwood and Chris Renwick, which built its name on organic cotton dungarees. Its web store is operated by Lucy and Yak Ltd (company 10850530) from Newton Road in Hoyland, Barnsley. The founders moved the business into an Employee Ownership Trust, so employees hold a controlling stake. What Lucy & Yak sells Dungarees, jumpsuits, co-ords and pinafore dresses Barrel-leg and wide-leg jeans and trousers in organic cotton denim, brushed cotton and corduroy Polar and borg fleeces in recycled polyester, plus cardigans and jumpers Petite and Tall & Long ranges, swimwear, socks and underwear, aprons and homewares Re:Yak PreLoved and (Im)Perfects pieces, resold at lower prices Every product page states the fabric composition. The brand publishes its list of factories in India and Türkiye together with their audits, such as Sedex SMETA, GOTS and GRS. Through Re:Yak, running since 2023, customers had handed back 50,000 pieces for resale, repair or recycling, according to Lucy & Yak. Delivery and returns Standard UK delivery takes 3 to 5 business days and costs £4.95, or nothing on orders of £99 or more. InPost locker delivery costs £4.50, next-business-day DPD delivery costs £7.95 for orders placed before 5pm Monday to Thursday, and delivery to a Lucy & Yak shop is free. Parcels also go to the EU, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries. Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days. Taking items back to a participating UK shop is free, a postal return for a refund costs £4.95, and a UK exchange for another size or colour costs £3.95. Socks, tights, briefs, earrings and soaps cannot be refunded. A one-year Quality Promise covers material, manufacturing and workmanship faults, with free returns for faulty pieces. Ways to save at Lucy & Yak NHS staff, teachers and Blue Light Card holders can claim 15% off full-price items (checked October 2026), and students verify through UNiDAYS. Old Yaks handed back through Re:Yak earn money off a later order (minimum spend £60), members of The Comfort Club collect rewards, and the Last Few, Imperfect and PreLoved sections hold reduced stock.
