About Lucy & Yak

Pieces to look for

Dungarees are the signature, with jumpsuits, co-ords and pinafore dresses close behind. Jeans and trousers come in barrel-leg and wide-leg shapes, cut from organic denim, brushed cotton or cord. Polar and borg fleeces use recycled polyester. Knitwear, swimwear, socks, underwear, aprons and homewares fill out the rest. Petite and Tall & Long fits are offered, and each product page lists the fabric mix.

Second-hand pieces appear under Re:Yak PreLoved, and items with small flaws are sold as (Im)Perfects.

How it makes its clothes

The brand publishes its factory list for India and Türkiye, with audit details such as Sedex SMETA, GOTS, GRS and OCS. Its Re:Yak take-back scheme, running since 2023, resells, repairs or recycles old pieces. Lucy & Yak says 50,000 items have come back through it.
