Longchamp is the Paris leather goods house behind Le Pliage, the folding nylon tote with leather handles. Founded in 1948 and still family-owned, it also makes handbags in leather, wallets and other small accessories, and ready-to-wear for women and men. The UK site adds personalisation, click and collect and gift cards to the usual delivery options.

Bags and lines
Le Pliage, first designed in 1993, folds flat when not in use and now comes in canvas and leather, from mini to travel XL sizes. Other lines include Épure, Le Roseau and Le Foulonné, each with its own shapes and materials. The Green District line uses recycled nylon. Through My Pliage, shoppers can design a personalised version of the classic tote.
Beyond bags
Small leather goods cover wallets, cardholders, pouches, keyrings and phone cases. Ready-to-wear includes jackets and midi skirts, and accessories run to silk scarves, belts and sunglasses. Longchamp has around 1,500 stores worldwide, and it offers a repair service that can be arranged through customer service or a boutique.
