About London Box Office

London Box Office is an online ticket agency for London theatre, taking bookings for West End and fringe productions at londonboxoffice.co.uk. It says its tickets follow the rules of the Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers (STAR), and STAR's member directory lists it as an affiliate member, cross-referenced with its sister site "Best of Theatre". Its privacy policy names the business behind it as "SARL Best of Theatre", a company based in Ansac-sur-Vienne, France, which trades as London Box Office. What London Box Office sells Long-running West End musicals such as The Lion King, Les Miserables and Mamma Mia! Plays, including National Theatre productions and new openings Opera, ballet and dance from English National Opera, the Royal Ballet and Opera and English National Ballet Comedy, magic, circus, immersive shows and fringe theatre Christmas, pantomime and family shows Interactive seating plans cover most West End theatres, so buyers choose their own seats, and the agency says each booking is confirmed with the theatre in real time. Delivery and returns All tickets are e-tickets. The London Box Office FAQ says they reach the buyer's inbox as soon as the booking is complete, and the confirmation can be printed or shown on a phone at the door. Orders with Ticket Protection get their barcodes later rather than straight away. Lost tickets can be replaced with a duplicate set collected from the theatre box office on the day, and ID may be requested. Confirmed tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the performance itself is cancelled. Buyers who add Ticket Protection can cancel up to 24 hours before the advertised start and receive a credit worth the full order value minus the protection fee, which is non-refundable; the credit has no cash value. Complaints have to be raised within 14 days of the show. Ways to save at London Box Office The terms include a price match: when a lower price is claimed within 48 hours of purchase, the difference is refunded within the next calendar month. According to the agency, a booking fee in line with STAR guidelines is charged only when no reduced price is available.
