Laud Sleep

Laud Sleep

Based in Hertford, Laud Sleep sells bedding from a handful of specialist makers instead of a label of its own. Bed sets come in bamboo silk, linen and cotton, pillowcases in mulberry silk, and the shop also carries duvets, mattresses and beds. It suits sleepers who are particular about fabric and fill, and who like comparing several brands in one basket.

About Laud Sleep

The labels behind the range

  • Luff Sleep: sheets, pillows and bedding sets in organic bamboo silk
  • Lazy Linen: European linen, pre-washed
  • Yard: muslin and washed cotton sets
  • Silky Silks: pillowcases, scrunchies and eye masks in mulberry silk
  • Laura Ashley: pillows and duvets with a feather and down fill
  • TLC: bedding in Egyptian cotton
  • Millbrook: mattresses that the shop says are handcrafted in England
  • My Nature: beds

Robes, pyjamas, towels, cushions, throws and home fragrance round things off, with toppers and protectors for the bed itself. Buying guides on pillows, duvets and materials help with choosing, and The Bedside Journal, the shop's blog, has care advice such as how to wash a feather duvet.

Delivery and returns at a glance

Mainland UK baskets of £50 and over ship free; below that the charge is £3.95. Northern Ireland or Channel Islands addresses are charged £10.95. Dispatch normally happens inside two working days, with three to four in all for delivery, and larger items like mattresses may need extra time. Royal Mail (insured) carries small parcels, while bulkier items go with Evri, DPD, FedEx or similar couriers. A mixed-brand order can arrive in more than one box. Buyers abroad can ask for a shipping quote by email.

The return window is 30 days from receipt, and bedding, duvets and pillows qualify only while still sealed. Send the order number to [email protected] to start a return. Postage back is the buyer's cost, and refunds may need as long as ten working days to come through.

Laud Sleep FAQs

Does Laud Sleep make its own bedding?

No. It is a retailer, buying in from specialist names such as Yard, Silky Silks, TLC, Lazy Linen, Laura Ashley and Luff Sleep, along with beds from My Nature and Millbrook mattresses.

Can I send back bedding I have opened?

Not as a change of mind. Sheets, covers, duvets and pillows must still be sealed to qualify within the 30 days. A faulty item is different: email the shop first and keep it unwashed, unused and in its original packaging.

How long does a Laud Sleep order take?

Most orders are sent out inside two working days and arrive three to four working days after ordering. Beds and mattresses may take more time, and an order covering several brands may come in separate parcels.

Can I order from Laud Sleep if I live outside the UK?

International shipping is arranged one order at a time. Send [email protected] a list of the items and the destination, and the shop replies with a price for delivery.

Which payment methods does Laud Sleep accept?

Laud Sleep takes Klarna and PayPal at checkout, and prices on laudsleep.com are shown in pounds sterling.
