About Jackson’s Art
Oil paint and the brands behind it
Oil painters have the most choice. Makers include Winsor & Newton, Sennelier, Michael Harding, Schmincke, Old Holland, Gamblin, Rembrandt, Holbein, Charvin, Blockx and Daler-Rowney, plus Jackson’s own colours. Water-mixable oils and oil sticks are stocked for anyone avoiding solvents. Mediums, varnishes, primers and grounds round out the studio basics.
Beyond oils
Watercolour, acrylic and pastel painters are catered for, and so are people who mainly draw. Brushes, palettes, canvases and papers come in many formats. The Help & Advice Centre answers common questions on orders and on choosing products.
