Knit Picks
Knit Picks is a yarn and knitting supplies shop. Kelley and Bob Petkun started it in 2002. The founders have since retired, and a small team of crafters now runs it. They test products on their own projects before anything reaches the site. Prices for UK buyers show in pounds with VAT included, which makes it easy for British knitters of any level.

About Knit Picks
Yarn by weight and fibre
Yarns are sorted by weight, from fine Lace (Weight 0) up to Super Bulky (Weight 6). Worsted (Weight 4) and DK (Weight 3) sit in between. Fibres include superwash merino, nylon blends, CotLin and a set of eco-friendly yarns.
House lines include Swish, Dishie, Brava and Wool of the Andes. Undyed "Bare" yarn is there for anyone who wants to dye their own.
Needles, tools and other brands
Beyond yarn, the shop stocks knitting needles, tools and accessories, along with value packs, samplers and mystery bundles. Knit Picks' own ranges sit next to brands such as Lion Brand, King Cole, Berroco and Baa Ram Ewe. Patterns and other resources help with choosing what to make next.
Ordering from the UK
Prices show in GBP and already include VAT, so there is no VAT to add on top. Delivery times and costs are worked out at checkout, based on the order and the address. Knit Picks also ships to Australia, the US and Canada.
Returns from outside the US and Canada follow their own instructions, set out on the returns page. Visa and Mastercard cards are accepted, as is PayPal.
Sustainability at Knit Picks
Knit Picks offers a selection of 'Eco-Friendly Yarns', demonstrating a commitment to providing more sustainable options for crafters. This includes yarns made from responsibly sourced fibres or those with a reduced environmental impact, allowing knitters to make conscious choices for their projects.
