About Hobbies
Kits, tools and materials
- Dolls houses with furniture to fill them
- Model railway sets, locomotives, coaches and track
- Wooden kits, including moving automation models
- Revell kits, model boat kits and remote control planes
Alongside the kits sit tools, materials and modular storage for a tidy workbench. Smaller supplies include decals, flags, vinyl lettering, plans and fretsaw blades, and wood packs and panels suit anyone building from scratch.
Postage and returns
Light items such as plans and decals post cheaply by Royal Mail. Wood packs, panels and flammable goods travel by courier at a higher rate. Tracked postage is an option, and bigger orders qualify for free delivery and a next working day service, so check the thresholds at checkout. Unused items in their original condition can be returned within 14 days for a refund, with return postage paid by the buyer.
Club membership and gifts
The Hobbies Club costs £10 a year and brings reduced retail prices, priority dispatch, a free catalogue and a welcome pack with a gift. Gift cards are available for fellow modellers.
