Hiut Denim makes jeans, and very little else, in Cardigan, Wales. David and Clare Hieatt started it in 2011 to bring jeans-making back to a town that lost Britain's biggest jeans factory in 2002. The motto is 'Do One Thing Well', and every pair comes with free repairs for as long as you own it.

About Hiut Denim
The jeans
Styles are cut for men and women in selvedge denim and organic cotton denim. The brand also experiments with other materials, including banana fibre, hemp and plastic-free denim. Each pair is made by hand in the Cardigan workshop by makers the company calls Grand Masters.
Occasional 'Not Denim' pieces and accessories appear too, but jeans are the point.
Built to last
Hiut's pitch is longevity. If a pair needs mending, send it back and the team fixes it at no cost, for life. The No-Wash Club nudges owners to wash their jeans less, with badges marking each milestone.
The brand got a boost in 2018 when Meghan Markle wore its black skinny jeans in Cardiff, bringing in three months of orders overnight.

UK delivery is free on every order and takes three to five working days. Hiut also ships internationally, and gift cards are sold.
